Pixma G series ink tank printers introduced by Canon in India

The six models introduced will be available from Rs 8,195 onwards.

Canon Prime G series of ink tank printers in India have just got six new models added to them. They are – G 1010, G 2010, G 2012, G 3010, G 3012, and G 4010 . The latest models are expected to be available from Rs 8,195 to Rs 17,425.

What comes in with this new series of ink tank printers is a front-facing, built-in ink tank system, which is refillable in nature and it is convenient to check ink levels. The company has said that this series comes with a hybrid ink system that gives high-resolution images.

Highlighting Pixma G4010 first, it is a multifunction printer that can be used to print, copy, scan and fax. There is a 20-sheet auto document feeder along with two-line LCD display that simplifies copy and scan functions. It is Wi-Fi enabled and can also be operated easily using the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY print and scan application.

Next are Pixma G3010 and Pixma G3012 printers, which come with a 1.2-inch LCD display and they are Wi-Fi enabled as well. They also support direct wireless connection to mobile devices and tablets without a router.

The next two models, Pixma G2010 and Pixma G2012 are a perfect solution for high volume printing for users connected to PCs. These come with a 1.2-inch LCD panel, which makes it easy to execute multiple copies and scan functions. And the last of this lot, the Pixma G1010 is meant for users and businesses, which requires high-volume printing.
