From the lanes of Egypt

The games helps you to quench your thirst for discovery and be the ultimate explorer.

Assassin’s Creed has been on my must buy list ever since I got lost in the winding lanes of Florence in renaissance Italy way back in the days of the Ezio trilogy. The franchise has indeed come a long way since those early days and has had some smashing hits and some huge mess ups during its long and arduous journey over the years.

Set in the time before the Assassin’s Order was established, the player will be dropped into an ancient Egypt in absolute turmoil and will have to trudge their way across the sandy dunes to liberate a civilisation on the brink of collapse.

So far, the gameplay that has been revealed looks extremely promising, however, the one feature that was announced alongside the latest trailer for the game is what has me buzzing. In the upcoming Discovery Tour Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt, the players will be able to enter a pure sandbox with the sole intention of limitless, uninterrupted exploration. Now gamers will be able to explore the entire recreation of Ancient Egypt in the game in this special mode free of combat, missions or time constraints. Gamers can either move around freely across the map or take part in several guided tours curated by renowned historians. With this mode, the explorer in you can quench your thirst for discovery and this may end up being the most popular feature of the new game like naval exploration was for Black Flag.
