Solar energy is perhaps the most important source of renewable energy available to mankind. This form of energy is used in various sectors to curb usage of other non-renewable sources of energy. From cooking to electricity, solar energy is used for myriad purposes.
Today we will discuss how solar panels convert sun’s power and harness electrical energy. Solar Panels are made up of smaller units called ‘Solar cells’ which are made of silicon, a semiconductor. The process is complex and the video below will explain how these panels work.
