HP announces Sprocket – its new palm-sized, portable photo printer that prints 2x3” sticky-back photos directly from your smartphone via Bluetooth.
The printer is available in colours: white with rose gold accents and black with silver accents. Additionally, Sprocket comes equipped with a 10-pack of HP ZINK photo paper (20 sheets per pack) which are for $9.99 each. The printer together with the HP ZINK photo paper comes at a price of $129.99.
Apart from that, the free HP Sprocket app for iOS and Android platforms allows users to customize and print smartphone and social media photos by adding frames, text, stickers, filters and more. The printed snaps are vibrant, smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-resistant. Users can peel off the backing and the photos can become stickers to decorate bags, scrapbooks, journals and walls.
