Thomson has launched a string of TVs in India, including 24-inch, 32-inch and 50-inch variants. The company also introduced an all-new UI "My Wall" in its Pro Series of 32-inch and 40-inch smart TV’s. It offers bundles of never before seen applications, worldwide content, temperature display and more.
The new UI 'My Wall' displays Bollywood videos, trending music on the home screen and also has a dedicated icon for cricket fans. It allows users to order from apps such as Big basket and Zomato while watching one's favourite videos or movies. Additionally, My Wall is also equipped with app content from all over the world which is region specific during search and plays Radio Stations, Local Tv Channels as well as genre-specific songs.
Both the 24-inch and 32-inch TVs, bearing model name 24TM2490 and 32TM3290, sport an LCD panel with a 1366x768 pixels resolution and HDR support. The TVs feature a LED-backlit panel and have a brightness of 250 nits with one 3000:1 and the other 5000:1 contrast ratio. The company is claiming a 178-degree viewing angle. In terms of connectivity, the TVs sports two HDMI port, two USB port, a headphone jack among others.
Lastly, the 50-inch TV, bearing model name 50TM5090, sports a LED-backlit panel with an LCD (1920x1080 pixels) resolution and a brightness of 400 nits with 4000:1 contrast ratio. It is also claimed to have a 178-degree viewing angle. Connectivity options include three HDMI port, two USB port, a headphone jack.
The 24-inch and the 32-inch TV has been priced at Rs 11,490 and 14,990 respectively. However, on the Flipkart, the TVs is available for Rs 8,999 and 11,499 respectively. The 50-inch LCD TV retails at Rs 26,999 on Flipkart.
