The Viewsonic XG2703-GS gaming monitor retails for Rs 84,999 and supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz, suitable for a flicker-free and blur-free experience.
Build, Design:
Gaming peripherals are crafted with care as these are supposed to be special accessories to a high-end gaming rig and Viewsonic monitor is no exception in this matter. With a 27-inch panel, Viewsonic has utilised entire real estate to create a monitor that looks equally exciting right out-of-the-box. The front has narrow bezels which automatically makes it look modern, while the rear is a composition of sharp creases and lines with colour inserts in the shape of a big ‘X’.
The rear panel also houses two tiny 2 Watt, rear-firing speakers along with a 3.5mm headphone jack for headphones or external audio amps. The stand is height-adjustable and also allows for changing the orientation. There is the usual array of control buttons decorated at the bottom, whereas the side houses three separate customisable profile buttons.

Dynamic contrast ratio goes up to 120,000,000:1, which is pretty much an important factor for those professionals who could use this monitor for video and photo editing.
In real world, the monitor delivers as promised — sharp picture quality with good contrasts and vibrant colours. Since the ViewSonic XG2703-GS is pitched as a gaming monitor, one will find an HDMI 1.4 port and a DisplayPort 1.2a. HDMI on this one is only limited to 60Hz only. Apart from the display ports, there are five USB ports comprising of two 3.0, three 2.0 slots.

At Rs 84,999, you get a large 27-inch IPS panel, buttery smooth 165Hz refresh rates, support for NVIDIA G Sync and a superb picture quality. If you have an unrestrained budget and looking for a gaming monitor that can deliver an amazing visual experience, then the XG2703-GS is a good investment.
