The 77-inch LG Signature OLED TV G6, which was unveiled by LG at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016, is finally available for sale at a price of $19,999 (approximately Rs 13 Lakh).
The high price is largely because of the 77-inch display screen illuminated with the OLED technology.
Even though, there are quite a few advanced TVs built out using LCD technology, still OLED technology is considered to be the best so far when it comes to TVs screens. Unlike LCD, with OLED pixels light themselves. On the other hand, LED relies on a backlighting system to illuminate the panel, which depicts less uniformity.
The television set sports 4K resolution with both HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It also offers a “picture-on-glass” design, and has an integrated Harman Kardon soundbar.
