Navdy clone Roav launched by Anker

The new onboard heads-up display will be similar to the Navdy

Chinese consumer electronic manufacturer has launched an in-vehicle heads-up display that appears to be similar in design and execution to Navdy that goes by the name of Roav.

The device appears to obtain data from a user’s phone and displays it on the transparent screen located above the dashboard and positioned in front of the driver. The product images show navigation, media playback information, the vehicle’s speed, and caller id. The Roav sits on a pedestal and is attached to the dashboard — just like the Navdy.

According to the product site, the Roav will be shipped in November. Navdy is as of now shipping to test users; however the general availability has still yet not been announced.

Though Navdy is over three years old, it hasn’t met clones for itself. But Anker’s product seems to match the Navdy step by step. This means that Roav should be of decent quality like other of Anker’s products.
