Kingston's new Typs-C OTG pen drive: Best of both worlds

Type C at one end, Type A at the other, and you pick which you want to use.

The Type C USB connector is here — the one which works at much higher speeds than the USB 3.1 standard and connects whichever way you insert it. The problem is, there are so many older Type A USB ports out there that until they all graduate to Type C we have to endure some mismatch problems. This is why Kingston’s new DataTraveler microDuo 3C USB drive will be of convenience, offering the best of both worlds: Type C at one end, Type A at the other, and you pick which you want to use.

The drive comes in three sizes — 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB, costs Rs 800, Rs 1,200 and Rs 2,000 respectively and is covered by a three-year warranty. Grab one at the earliest — to smooth over your USB crossover pains.
