When Big B missed his tribute song

When Amitabh Bachchan is the chief guest for an event, who wouldn’t want to leave a lasting impression? And celebs in Kollywood are no different. At the recent function held for the CM, where Big B was a special invitee, the organisers planned a Hindi number among all the Tamil ones, especially for him. Popular dancer/actor Rukmini was to perform the only solo act for the evening, a special Hindi number that was originally picturised on Big B and his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai — Kajra re from the film Bunty aur Babli.
However, just as she came on stage, Big B took a restroom break. As there was only one VIP restroom reserved for the CM, the actor went on a ‘toilet hunt’ accompanied by Kamal Haasan. The two took a long walk outside the auditorium to find the common restrooms which weren’t in top order. When they returned, Rukmini’s performance had already ended. Talk about missing out on honours.
