Irrfan Khan recently gave a voice over for a television serial called Crime and Bollywood without charging a single penny from producer Sunil Bohra. The actor even squeezed out time from his schedule to dub for the serial.

A source said, “Irrfan Khan had to shoot for Sohail Maklai’s Knock Out. It was a four day shoot and a studio had been booked for the same. It was a tight schedule as major portions of the film had to be completed within four days.”

It was during this schedule that Sunil Bohra asked Irrfan to give a voice over for his serial. Being a good friend of Bohra’s, Irrfan instantly agreed. “He would rush from the studio to dub for the serial, skipping his sleep too. Besides, completing Maklai’s schedule on time, Irrfan completed the dubbing as well.”

When contacted, producer Sunil Bohra says, “Despite his watertight schedule, my dear friend Irrfan gave a voice over for the serial. I’ll always be grateful to him.”
