Sridevi out to please Sonam

Don’t know what it is about family but most of want to remain on great terms with every member no matter how old, young, senile or crazy they are. Losing touch with exes and growing apart from friends doesn’t bother me, but with relatives unless they are really ghastly I like to keep in touch. Beating me to the game is Sridevi though. While having coffee with my cousin Ruhi, I was telling her how I suffer Shahanaz, the bore (my aunt) only because we are family and got told off. Before I could mentally make a note to avoid this rude relative in future, how dare she not let me finish my sentence in my own home! Ruhi started praising Sridevi and told me what a nice aunt she makes. My celebrity antenna automatically popped up and I decided to forgive the mannerless girl. Well here’s the dope, Sri is a great painter and the actress turned artist recently painted a portrait of Sonam Kapoor.

Sonam should be very grateful as her aunt painted a still of her from the film Saawariya. The end result is an ethereal looking portrait of Sonam which is supposed to look lovely. Poor Sri, imagine sitting through one of the most boring films of all time for the sake of a painting. Such torture can be endured only to impress family.
