Frescoes on Cunningham Road is the cutest place in the city! It’s located in a really nice area. They dish up yummy English breakfast; from sausages to ham to bacon, eggs and orange juice, everything here is delectable. They have the best desserts too — my favourite is the Chocolate Dementia. I mostly visit this place for their desserts — which they serve in large portions. This month, I’ve gone there thrice already.
Another place I love to visit often to satisfy my tastebuds is Gullus Chaat in Kumara Park. I’ve grown up eating chaat from this joint — it used to be even better when I was a kid. I go there at least once in two weeks. Their masala puri and puchka are to die for. There’s another tiny place called Chetty’s Corner right next to Gullus where you get superb masala Pepsi. There’s nothing as satisfying as gorging on chaat at such tiny nooks.
Another favourite hangout of mine is Infinitea, again on Cunningham Road. The pasta served here is delicious and so is the baked fish. The salad and sandwiches are great too. I’m a big tea person, so I love the tea, especially the black and lemon tea here. This list would be incomplete without Popsies, the Chinese restaurant in Koramangala. They have the best Malaysian noodles, dragon chopsuey and of course, my favourite — momos!
