‘I’m going casual on New Year’s Eve’

Planning and plotting is not just for world domination, but also to look perfect on New Year’s Eve for the big party. A few popular faces in the city tell us what their New Year outfit is going to be...

Shriya Saran, actor
I always love vibrant colours and as I’m spending New Year’s Eve in Goa, I’ll be in a pair of shorts and a tee with bright colours like red, yellow, pink and dark orange. My dresses depend on the place I go to, which in Goa definitely has to be bright and happy.

Shantanoo, actor
I’ll be celebrating New Year with my friends at a beach house. Last year, I wore a semi-formal outfit with a blazer, but since it is a private party this time around, I’ll be wearing a tee with a three-quarter pants and flip-flops.

Priya Selvaraj, Doctor
I have two choices for New Year’s Eve. One is a sleeveless black dress designed by Wendell Rodricks from Collage. My other choice is a vintage dress, also black in colour, which I recently picked up when I went to Amsterdam.

Lakshmi Rai, actor
I have bought a D&G three-fourth gown from Australia. It has orange, grey and black colours. I’ll be pairing it up with metallic shoes which I picked up from there as well. I’ll also be carrying some casual outfits with me as I’ll be doing an event too.
