Nostalgic day for Maryians

Nostalgic day for Maryians

St Mary’s College bid farewell to its outgoing batches of degree as well as Intermediate students at a joint event this week. The outgoing students met their lecturers and cherished their last few moments as college students.

“These three years at St Mary’s were great. I will remember and cherish everything I did and everyone I met here; faculty, friends, and the trips we went on. Some of these friends are going to be a part of my life forever,” says Akhila Reddy, student of Mass Communication. Robin Ryan, BSC Biotech student, says, “On the first day of college, I was anxious, excited and scared of how these three years would turn out. Now, when I look back I am amazed at all the things I’ve gained especially all my lovely friends.”

The college ensured that the students’ last day was memorable. The best outgoing students were recognised in each class, and some shared their experiences in front of everyone.

The evening ended with a special dinner organised for the students. Director of the College, Mahinder Reddy, says, “We are glad that our students did their best in the time they were with us. We want them to do better in the days to come, and will be happy to see them well-settled.”
