* This choti si love story has a happy ending. Sandalwood actress Priyanka Bulgannawar is all set to tie the knot. The young starlet is finally settling down with her long-time beau, businessman Gautam Kripalani.
Priyanka revealed that it will be a two-day affair with a traditional wedding at a Gurudwara on February 23 followed by a grand reception at the Bangalore Club on February 24.
* Anisha Bhandary and Dhruva Talwarkar threw a big bash, where they invited over 200 guests for a night of dance, music and fabulous cuisine at the Taj West End. This was a great evening for guests to catch up with long lost friends.
The couple had thoughtfully called up their guests well in advance to mark the date on their calendar. And since they are a very popular couple in town, all their friends and well-wishers made it a point to attend this bash. Needless, this was one rocking party.

The birthday girl looked lovely in a shocking pink salwar kurta. She along with hubby Sundar made sure that friends were well looked after.

* The latest we hear is that actor Puneeth has two more projects in his kitty, one of them inspired from the Tamil flick Poraali. In fact, the film is to be directed Samuthirakanni, who wielded the megaphone for the original too. The actor however insists that the film is only “inspired” from the original, and will be adequately altered to suit the local audience. We’ll just have to wait and watch won’t we?
* She’s definitely one of the most hardworking choreographers in town. And now from what we hear, very dedicated too. Sheetal Sharma was suffering from a really terrible back ache during the four-day Bangalore Fashion Week.
She was seen walking around the venue wrapped in a shawl and looked rather pale. But this feisty woman ensured that all rehearsals for the shows happened on time. And despite her exhausted state she attended a close pal’s birthday, just to personally wish the lady.

And she came family in tow — her mother, father, daughter Gia and her daughter’s baby sitter were seen sitting in the front row for her show. And even as the organisers kept announcing to keep handicams and mobile phone recordings off, the designer’s maid recorded the whole show on her little camera.
And just as the showstopper Lisa Haydon was about to walk the ramp, Ritu got up from her chair and made a beeline for the back stage, crossing a line of peeved off photographers to get to the side door to come on stage. The lensmen started shouting in anger on seeing someone suddenly emerge, blocking their view of Lisa. Little did they realise that it was the designer herself, trying to get onto the ramp via a back entry.

Why is actress Ragini Dwivedi recuperating in a hospital? She has just recovered from a bad migraine attack and had been hospitalised for dehydration. “Every time I get a headache, I avoid taking medicines. I’m not much of a medicine person, I think that causes more damage,” she says. But the dehydration is also due to her constant travel and work schedule she says.
