It’s just like a scene out of the classic 1970’s movie with Willy Wonka’s Wonkavision personified — a television set that you reach right into and have a conversation with. Jayne Vidheechareon, a media student from the Art Centre College of Design in California made it a reality, when he designed a prototype TV that switches an actual human hand placed behind this specially designed box into a virtual one. The backdrop is the Google Streetview and the digitalised objects in the screen and be moved around and fiddled with at will.
