Be prepared for a different treat, that’s what director Venkat Prabhu has been saying these days about Mankatha.
The director has attempted a slightly different genre from his earlier films.
“Audiences will be on the edge of their seats for most of the scenes. I have tried the action thriller genre with this film. I hope the audience will be prepared to enjoy a different kind of film.”
Asked whether it will have his trademark humour, which made him popular in his earlier films, he says, “Mankatha is definitely my film. You will certainly get the feeling that you are watching my film. Humour is part of the Mankatha script as well. But action is the main flavour of the story. I am as excited as millions of Ajith fans to watch Mankatha. I won’t keep them waiting too long.”
The film’s audio will be released this month and the film will be a grand treat next month.
