Sania Mirza comes up with a cheeky response to Rajdeep Sardesai's settling down tweet

Mumbai: It has been eight years since Pakistani cricket star Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza have been together. The couple got married in 2010 and since then has been staying in Dubai.

Sania also reached the pinnacle of the tennis world in 2016, when she became the first female tennis player from India to be ranked no 1 in the world in women’s doubles.

After eight long years the couple is finally ready to become parents as they are expecting their first child, due in the month of October this year. The 31-year-old Indian tennis super star tweeted a picture suggesting that she is pregnant.

After the announcement wishes started to pour in on Twitter for the couple. Veteran and renowned Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai also conveyed his wishes to the Indian tennis star and congratulated her on 'settling down'. This message was a reference to an old interview of his with the Hyderabadi.

Sardesai tweeted: "Congratulations on 'settling down'!! god bless the family!!"

Sania gave a very cheeky response to the tweet. She wrote: "Well thank you Rajdeep ... still not ‘settling’ now though ... have been settled for a while." The message ended with emojis of a laugh and a wink.

Sania is currently out of action due to a knee issue since October 2017.
