Hyderabad: Rishab Nayar continued to dominate the Laser 4.7 category even as heavy rains and strong winds made sailing more challenging on the second day of the Hyderabad Sailing Week here. Activity as aplenty at the Hussainsagar lake on Wednesday. In Laser Standard category, Army Yachting Node sailors swept all the top five positions — Swatantra Singh, Muzahid Khan, Gitesh, Kundhan Updhayay and Vivek finishing in that order.
In the Laser 4.7 category, Rishabh Nayar of Yacht Club of Hyderabad took the top honours followed by Aniket Rajaram (TNSA), Koteshwar Rao (TSC), Ram Milan Yadav (NSS) and Satish Yadav (NSS). Army Yachting Node dominated the RS:X event as well. Jerome Kumar S, Kore MN and Arjun Reddy finished in the top three. The Hobie-16 saw Jaspreet Singh & Nitesh Kumar of AWSA taking the top spot followed by Patel Kamlesh Kumar & Rawankar UB of AYN. Patel Ashish Kumar & Nagen Behra of EME Sailing Association finished third. In the Enterprise category, Sanjeev Khanna & Jayharidas of EME Sailing Association took the lead.
