Karnataka Senior aquatic championship: Arvind, Saloni champions

On Friday, the in-form Arvind set a new record in the 50m backstroke clocking 27.23 seconds to take home the title.

Bengaluru: Arvind Mani (135 points) and Saloni Dalal (122 points) of the Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre emerged champions in the men’s and women’s categories respectively on the final day of the State Senior aquatic championship held at the Nettakallappa Aquatic Centre here on Friday.

On Friday, the in-form Arvind set a new record in the 50m backstroke clocking 27.23 seconds to take home the title.

Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre bagged the overall champions’ crown with 505 points.
