Mumbai: Football legend Diego Maradona and former Argentine footballer Juan Sebastian Veron clashed with each other in a friendly game.
The duo was playing in the Match of Peace friendly in Rome in honour of Pope Francis. Maradona had to be stopped by security staff after he got into the ugly spat.
In the first-half, Maradona tripped over at the feet of ex-Manchester United man Veron.
Both players got into a war of words during the game. At half-time, Maradona was caught on the camera looking visibly distressed and had to be held back by staff.
Ronaldinho, Hernan Crespo, Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Robert Pires also participated in the game.
