IPL 2018: Here's what 'boss' Shah Rukh Khan tweeted after KKR's loss against MI

Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs at Eden Gardens stadium on Thursday.

Kolkata: Mumbai Indians kept their play-off chances alive by beating Kolkata Knight Riders by 102 runs at Eden Gardens stadium on Thursday. This was their second straight win over KKR opponent after beating them earlier in Mumbai .

Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan was the star of the show, who scored a whirlwind 21-ball 62 runs to help his side to victory. The win helped Rohit Sharma-led side to come level on points with KKR (10 points from 11 games) and fourth in the points table courtesy better net run rate.

After teams crushing defeat in the match Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan took to social media Twitter and apologised to fans just after the loss. The Bollywood superstar and wrote an apologetic message to KKR fans. "Sports is about the spirit and wins/losses don't reflect that. But tonight as the 'Boss' I need to apologise to the fans for the lack of spirit,".
