Ranji Trophy: Tanmay century puts Hyderabad ahead

Tanmay batted through the day to slam 106 which included 14 fours and guided Hyderabad to 234/3 in 90 overs at stumps.

Hyderabad: Opener Tanmay Agarwal’s brilliant unbeaten century put Hyderabad in a commanding position against Jammu & Kashmir on the first day of their Ranji Trophy Group ‘C’ match being played in Vadodara, Gujarat on Tuesday.

Tanmay batted through the day to slam 106 which included 14 fours and guided Hyderabad to 234/3 in 90 overs at stumps. Skipper S. Badrinath and B. Anirudh played supporting roles but failed to convert their good starts as they departed after making 47 and 46 respectively. Parvez Rasool picked two wickets for the opponents.
