Mumbai: Cricket has seen batsmen come up insatiable unorthodox shots with the bat. Fans too have seen unique bowling actions. South Africa’s Chinaman bowler Paul Adams stood out during the 90s era with his back-of-the-hand action.

20-year-old Shivil Kaushik might not be known as a fame spin bowler but his inimitable bowling action has aroused interest in cricket circles and social media.

The Gujarat Lions threw up a new mystery spinner, whose action is almost on the lines of Paul Adams.

Kaushik, who made his IPL debut in the match, also drew a tweet from Adams, who was quite thrilled looking at his action. He bowled three overs and gave away 32 runs with no wicket. He got rid of RPS’ player Steven Smith but was the delivery was adjudged a no-ball after replays.
