Video: Gautam Gambhir, Manoj Tiwary engage in another war of words in IPL game

KKR captain Gautam Gambhir led his side to an easy 7-wicket win over Pune with a well-struck 62 runs off 46 balls.

Pune: Indian batsmen Manoj Tiwary and Gautam Gambhir got into yet another spat at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune, on Wednesday, during an Indian Premier League match between Rising Pune Supergiant and Kolkata Knight Riders.

KKR captain Gambhir led his side to an easy 7-wicket win over Pune with a well-struck 62 runs off 46 balls. However, he was seen hurling a few angry words at Tiwary, while he was batting. The duo continued their little spat, even after Gambhir sneaked a single and took his stance at the other end of the pitch.

Both Gambhir and Tiwary have a bit of a history with each other, as they had gotten into a spat during a Ranji Trophy game between Delhi and Bengal, in 2015.

Tiwary, who had hit the winning runs in KKR’s 2012 IPL victory, was released by the franchise last year, and went unsold in the auctions. However, Tiwary has been picked-up by RPS for his base price, ahead of the ongoing season.
