David Warner takes cheeky dig at Harbhajan Singh after Australia beat India in Pune

Harbhajan Singh had earlier commented that the current Australian side is the weakest to tour India.

Mumbai: After Australia clinched a thumping 333-run win over India in the opening game of the four-match Test series, Harbhajan Singh, who had predicted that Australia will struggle to get even a draw against Virat Kohli and Co, has been scrutinised.

Harbhajan had earlier commented that the current Australian side is the weakest to tour India, and would be lucky to even get a draw and lose 3-0 in the series.

"In my opinion, looking at the composition, this is the weakest Australian side to tour India. I don't think this team has the wherewithal to cope with a quality Indian side in the Indian conditions. It can again be 4-0 like 2013 season," Harbhajan had said before the series, earlier this month.

However, the off-spinner’s comments blew up in his face, after Australia completely dominated India in the first Test in Pune, which the visitors won by a whopping 333-runs.

What made the victory all the more special for the Aussies, was that they achieved the win on a rank-turner (conditions in which they are known to struggle), with a little over two days left to go.

Incidentally, this was Australia’s first Test win on Indian soil, in 4,502 days.

Harbhajan had to take back his words after the match, as he congratulated Steve Smith and co. for their win.

However, the ‘Turbanator’ was not spared for his earlier comments, as fans stormed-in on his tweet, to troll him.

Even David Warner, in his own subtle manner, went on to troll Harbhajan, retweeting a particular post by Cricket.com.au.
