Mumbai: The latest edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auctions commenced on Saturday, with quite some surprising decisions already being made.

While Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan and Keiron Pollard were retained by Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians respectively via Right to Match, West Indies’ dashing batsman Chris Gayle remained unsold.

Meanwhile, Australia's Glenn Maxwell was sold to Delhi Daredevils for nine crore.
