Off spinner Ahmed Quadri returned with a five-wicket haul (5 for 23) as State Bank of India thumped Hyderabad Titans by eight wickets.

Hyderabad: Mickil Jaiswal, Ahmed Quadri and Mohit were the prominent performers in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s top division knockout matches played here on Friday.

Mickil smashed a century 104 in 114 balls, dispatching 12 to the boundary and one over it as MP Colts scored a seven-wicket win over New Blues, who were all out for 195.

 

Off spinner Ahmed Quadri returned with a five-wicket haul (5 for 23) as State Bank of India thumped Hyderabad Titans by eight wickets. Batting first, the Titans were restricted to 169 for 9 despite Rohit Reddy’s 75. SBI replied with 171 for 2 in just 23.4 overs as Daniel Manohar (69) and KSK Chaitanya (44 n.o) did well.

Cambridge’s Mohit was the other performer. He took 6 for 2 to bowl Karimnagar out for 68. Cambridge overhauled the target with all 10 wickets in hand.
