Watch: How MS Dhoni helped Yuzvendra Chahal make it 3-0 vs Australia's Glenn Maxwell

With this win, India not only sealed the series but also secured the number one spot in ODIs.

Indore: Virat Kohli’s Team India completed a five-wicket win over Australia in the third ODI on Sunday at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, thereby clinching the series 3-0 win two games to go. The Indian bowlers were at it again, with Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah taking two wickets each, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya managing to take one wicket.

During the Australian innings, India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was on the run, when he got out Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell for the third time in the series, thanks to a second consecutive stumping by wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The 28-year-old Maxwell was once again a victim of Yuzvendra Chahal as the latter’s spin trick did the job again as the visitors lost their fourth wicket.

In the previous ODI, Glenn Maxwell had been dismissed by the 27-year-old spinner in the same fashion, following a brilliant work by Dhoni behind the wickets.

With this win, India not only sealed the series but also secured the number one spot in ODIs, with South Africa and Australia in the second and third spot respectively.

Both the teams will now head to the Garden City Bengaluru, where they will play the fourth ODI at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday, as Steve Smith’s men search for their first win.
