Neighbours complain against MS Dhoni on water issue

They alleged that 15,000 litres of water is wasted every day to maintain the India skipper's personal swimming pool.

Mumbai: India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is going through a tough time. When drought-hit Maharashtra couldn’t host IPL matches, there are allegations of water wastage in Dhoni’s Ranchi residence.

According to reports, his neighbours have complained that at least 15,000 litres of water is wasted every day to maintain his personal swimming pool. His locality is currently going through a water crisis.

The report added that the bore wells do not work in the area.

Dhoni’s neighbours have also lodged a complaint to state revenue minister Amar Bauri.

On the other hand, Dhoni’s advisor in Ranchi said the pool is in use only when the skipper is in town.

The same people had filed a plea, in 2007, against Ranchi Regional Development Authority when the pool was under construction. Later, it was declared that the petition was based on incorrect information.
