Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer included in Indian squad for Dharamsala Test
Mumbai: Pacer Mohammed Shami and batsman Shreyas Iyer have been included in the Indian squad for fourth and final Test against Australia in Dharmasala.
“The All-India Senior Selection Committee met earlier today to add fast bowler Mohammed Shami and batsman Shreyas Iyer in the India Cricket Team for the final Test of the four-match Paytm Test series against Australia,” said BCCI in a stetment.
Shami has not played for India since November 2016. Iyer has been called up in the national team as a cover for India skipper Virat Kohli, who injured his shoulder in the third India-Australia Test at Ranchi.
India squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), M Vijay, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, W Saha (wk), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Karun Nair, Jayant Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Abhinav Mukund, Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Shami.
