ICC Champions Trophy or ICC Women's World Cup? Rajeev Shukla deletes final' tweet
Mumbai: Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla on Thursday committed a hilarious mistake on Twitter after he congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team on reaching the ‘Champions Trophy’ final, instead of the Women’s World Cup final.

On noticing the blunder, Rajeev Shukla soon deleted the tweet and posted a new tweet congratulating the team for reaching the Women’s World Cup final.

The Indian women’s cricket team on Thursday entered the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup after they knocked out defending champions Australia in the semi-final.
It was the heroics of star batter Harmanpreet Kaur which helped the Women in Blue enter the final. The Chandigarh batswoman played a quickfire innings of 171 not-out off just 115 deliveries and was later awarded as the player of the match.
India will face-off against hosts England in the tournament decider on Sunday at Lords.
Previously, the Indian men’s senior team in June had reached the final of the ICC Champions Trophy, where they lost to eventual champions Pakistan by 180 runs.
