Rajkot: Tempers flared during Gujarat Lions versus Royal Challengers Bangalore game here on Wednesday as Virat Kohli had a go at youngster Ishan Kishan.

RCB, who scored a mammoth 213 runs banking on half-centuries from Chris Gayle and skipper Kohli, defeated Suresh Raina-led GL by 21 runs.

While the former India Under-19 captain, Kishan, scored a quickfire 39 runs off 16 balls to offer some hope for GL, it was Kohli-led RCB which had the final laugh.

While Kohli’s half-century was one of the standout performances of the game, Team India skipper’s outburst towards Kishan also grabbed attention.

Kishan, who ducked under a bouncer off Sreenath Arvind, had to hear a mouthful from Kohli.

Kishan, who had recently played under MS Dhoni for Jharkhand, though let his bat do all the talking as he slammed a huge six in the same over through the leg-side.
