Hyderabad: N. Vigneshwar cracked a century while Aditya Choudhary and M. Harshavardhan Reddy took five-wicket hauls to hog Saturday’s spotlight in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s second division league matches here.
In a two-day game, Vignesh stuck 20 boundaries in his unbeaten 120 to lead Rakesh XI’s strong reply to Ours’ 278 in a drawn match. His teammate T. Bharadwaj was unlucky though, falling two runs short of a century.
Aditya bowled brilliantly as HBCC beat Crown by 11 runs. The off-spinner snared five wickets while conceding 52 runs in the first innings as Crown was bundled for 179 against HBCC’s 317. Following on, they were all out for a mere 127 as Aditya again took an impressive 3 for 5.
In another match, Harshavardhan Reddy scalped 5 for 60 as Deccan Wanderers bowled out Sri Chakra for 135 to enforce a follow-on after declaring their innings at 251 for 9.
