Over 1.3 million views! MS Dhoni trains dogs at Ranchi farmhouse; video goes viral

Mumbai: Former India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is mostly known for his gestures both on and off the cricket field.

A recent video of ‘Thala’ Dhoni dancing to a song from Desi Boyz, to which his wife Sakshi was bursting to laughter, had taken the internet by storm.

In another video uploaded on his Instagram page, Dhoni, who is taking a break from cricket, is seen training his dogs at his farmhouse in Ranchi. The video, which he has captioned it as "ZOYA(Dutch shepherd) does some training and LILY(husky) does the cheering job," has already received 1.3 million views and 3, 889 comments.

This is not the first time Dhoni has taken to social media about himself sharing some photos and videos with his dogs.

The Jharkhand cricketer has been heavily criticised by former players like VVS Laxman and Akash Chopra following his recent performances for the country. However, some cricketers, including captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri, has come in support of the 36-year-old.

Dhoni is currently taking a break from cricket, as Virat Kohli and co are set to face Sri Lanka in a three-match Test series at home, starting with the first Test at Kolkata on Thursday. The former India skipper is expected to be back in action for the ODIs, starting with the first ODI on December 10 and three-match Twenty20 series against the Islanders.
