Watch: MS Dhoni bowls leg spin before South Africa vs India 5th ODI at Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth: MS Dhoni is an asset to Indian team thanks to his finishing abilities with this bat and some smart glove work behind the stumps. Dhoni is an important element to the side due to his abillity to read the game beautifully. Rceently he became the first Indian wicket keeper to effect 400 dismissals in ODI.
The former team India skipper is recent years have taken the role of a finisher and managed to do justice to the role. He has an eye of a hawk and is spot-on with the DRS decision.
Coming to his bowling skills Dhoni who bowls medium pace has added the art of leg-spinner to his already loaded armory. This is not the first time that he decided to assist spinners during nets. Last year, It was during the ODI series against Australia, that Dhoni bowled alongside the three other spinners in the squad – Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja.

With fifth ODI all set to take place at Port Elizabeth on Tuesday, the wicketkeeper decided to bowl some slow leg-spin to Indian batsmen in nets. Dhoni alongside Axar Patel gave some spin practice to the Indian batsmen.

India is currently leading the six-match series 3-1 after winning the first three matches in Durban, Centurion and Cape Town. South Africa bounced back in Johannesburg to win the match by 5 wickets and stay alive in the series.
The fifth ODI will be crucial for Virat Kohli and his team as they look to wrap up the series and It will be the first time, that India will win a bilateral series in South Africa. Apart from ODI triumph, the win will ensure that India stays on top of the ICC ODI rankings.
