HYDERABAD: Nishanth Yadav, L. Naveen Chary, V. Sahasra, hit centuries while, B. Vikram, Shaik Azhar, Manas and Mujahaid were bowlers who came up with brilliant performances at Hyderabad Cricket Association’s two-day league matches.
Team Postal’s Nishanth hit 117 off 142 balls with 14 boundaries and one six to his credit while, teammate Naveen hit 113 off 157 balls with nine boundaries to his credit as their side posted 376 in 81.1 overs against Jai Bhagwathi CC.
Sahasra of Visaka CC hit 103 of 97 balls as his side posted 240 in 69 overs against Medak District for whom Vikram snared eight wickets for 101 runs.
Although, Azhar of Khammam district scalped six wickets for 65 runs against Raju CC, his side could not defend their score as Manas from Raju CC took up five wickets for 58 runs. Replying to Khammam district’s 177 for 7 Raju CC posted 179.
In another match, Mujahaid took five wickets for 30 runs for Nalgonda district who beat Sayi Satya by nine wickets.
