Parthiv Patel stumps Virender Sehwag in hilarious glove banter on Twitter

The Gujarat batsman came up with an epic reply to Virender Sehwag who tried to pull his legs.

Mumbai: Virender Sehwag, who is always known to express his opinion on social media never fails to give his followers a taste of his witty humour when needed. The former swashbuckling India opener never spares anybody when it comes to pulling legs, and found a new target on Wednesday through Team India wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel.

The Gujarat batsman, who is currently stationed with Virat Kohli and co as a backup keeper for the South Africa series came up with an epic reply to Sehwag’s Twitter post.

“A new bride arrived and husband told her to feed a Roti made of her hands, “Sehwag wrote in his Hindi Tweet with a picture of wicket-keeper gloves made of Roti.

The Nawab of Najafgarh followed it up by asking Parthiv Patel if he needed the Roti gloves in case he was short of them on the tour.

However, it was Parthiv who enjoyed the last laugh, ending the banter with a perfect reply.

“I have brought along gloves of the perfect size. Keep those gloves with yourself, it will help someone at home now that is colder in Delhi,” the 32-year-old replied in Hindi.

Twitteratti applauded Parthiv for his hilarious response.
