IND vs SL, First T20: MS Dhoni likely to roll an arm

Earlier in many occasions, India skipper picked up the cherry when needed.

Pune: India skipper MS Dhoni is a complete package – the way he plots dismissals, his cool mindset and his enthusiasm to roll an arm when required. Will he bowl during the first T20 against Sri Lanka here on Tuesday?

The chances are high. Why?

Sri Lanka is marred by injuries and it is the perfect platform to experiment. Earlier, Dhoni used Virat Kohli in few occasions when he needed a wicket and now, in his absence, he can be the fifth change bowler.

Both of them have a similar action and can garner movement, forcing the batsman to nick or play on to the stumps.

He was spotted with the ball during Team India's net session ahead of the rubber against Sri Lanka.

Dhoni’s one and only wicket in One Day International is that of Travis Dowlin (West Indies) in the ICC Champions Trophy, 2009.

The man again took the ball during Champions Trophy in 2013 where he trapped Mahela Jayawardene. The umpire’s original decision was out but the Decision Review System said the ball had an inside edge.
