Ashwin, who was picked for ICC Test of the Year 2016, finished 2016 with 72 wickets in Tests and scored 612 runs. The leading spinner in the world will play his first match of 2017 as Virat Kohli-led Indian side takes on England in a three-match ODI series and three Twenty20s.
