Watch: Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane sharpen their catching skills

Steve Smith was helped on his way to his match-winning 109 as they dropped him three times during that innings.

Bengaluru: The Indian team is generally one of the fittest in the world of cricket, but Virat Kohli’s men have come in for some criticism recently, for a poor showing on the field, in their first Test against Australia, in Pune.

India lost the first of the four-match Test series against Australia by 333 runs, their first loss to the side from Down Under on home soil, in 4,502 days.

Australia captain Steve Smith, who scored a second innings century on a rank turner in Pune, played a key role in helping Australia set their hosts a massive first innings target of 441 runs.

Smith was helped on his way to his match-winning 109 as they dropped him three times during that innings.

Ahead of their next Test in Bengaluru, the Indian cricketers, namely Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane, were seen practicing catches.

Judging by how close around the bat both Kohli and Rahane were standing, it seems as though Team India have learnt their lesson, and are ready to help their spinners by taking more catches.
