A fleet of sports cars, on their way to the city of Yamaguchi for a lunchtime get-together of car enthusiasts – were caught in a 14-car pileup causing no major injuries but littering the Expressway with pieces of broken driving dreams.
By the last impact, the accident had claimed eight Ferraris, one Lamborghini and three Mercedes-Benzes, plus two other vehicles.
