Mystic Mantra: When in sorrow, react positively

People generally tend to blame others or their destiny for their sorrows, failures and adversities.

Every person desires to live a happy, peaceful and a prosperous life. But these desires remain unfulfilled in most of the cases and no one would ever realise the reason for it. What could be the reason for non-fulfilment of our goals and desires?

Is it adverse planetary position that is responsible? Or is it our destiny? Or it is Vaastu defect, curse, other’s negativity or God himself is responsible?

People generally tend to blame others or their destiny for their sorrows, failures and adversities, but never realise that situations and circumstances in their lives are created by their own thoughts, actions, imaginations and feelings (as these only become their deeds and karma).

If we accept this fact that no one else, other than we ourselves, are responsible for all that which happens in our lives then the situations, especially the adverse ones, will stop affecting us.

We will stop reacting negatively in unfavourable situations. The feeling of sorrow will get reduced and automatically our reactions will start becoming positive, as we would want to create a positive and favourable situation in future.

We should practice these three positive reactions in case anyone causes sorrow or problems to us:

  • First, we should seek forgiveness through meditation from the other person who we think is the cause for our misery as we have now realised that it is we who have negatively acted with that person in the past (including in the past birth) which he is giving us back in the present form. We do not know how we may have hurt the other person in our past births. For example, if someone has caused us a loss of Rs 10,000 in this birth and we are unable to attribute a reason to him/her doing so — it can be assumed that we may have caused a loss to him/her in our previous births. But we do not know the magnitude of the loss that we may have caused. It could have been Rs 5,000 and it could also have been Rs 20,000. Since we don’t know this and there is no way to find this out, we should accept the same and seek forgiveness from the other soul for causing loss to him/her in earlier birth(s).
  • Second, we should thank God for giving us the fruit of our prarabha karmas timely and has freed us from the web of prarabdha karmas. For we do not know as to what “interest” we would have to pay if we were made to repay for our past actions in the future. Consider it like a bank loan that we have, and the more time we take to repay it, the more interest we have to pay to the bank. Just that the bank loan in spiritual terms is the accumulation of results of our past karma.
  • Third, we must pray for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the other person causing sorrow and problems to us as emanating positive vibes for others will help us attract multiples of similar positive vibes from the cosmos. By doing this, we are avoiding the vicious cycle of karma towards that person. If we again become negative towards that person, then that person/soul will find a reason to be negative to us in this birth or the next. And this will go on and on.

As we start adopting this type of behaviour and practicing these three positive reactions in our life, then slowly and gradually all the obstacles in our life would start diminishing and we would start achieving all that which we desire for and which is good for us.

One who adopts these three great positive reactions in his/her life will swim across the ocean of the world easily, happily and effortlessly.
