Make someone smile

Every day I pray to God for 10 minutes. I have a little temple at home that has all the idols of various Gods and Goddesses. Since my father was in the Army, I got an opportunity to gain knowledge about many different religions and their beliefs. Praying gives me peace and confidence.

God will shower us with blessings if we try to become good human beings. If we are able to make even one person smile, fill someone’s stomach and make a positive difference to someone’s life, it is as good as worshipping the Almighty.

I believe that as long as I don’t have a frown on my face and I am compassionate towards fellow beings I am on the right path. At the end of the day, it is humanity that matters.

During shooting for movies I try to interact with every one on the sets. And if it makes a positive difference in their lives that is my way of understanding spirituality.

It is really heart-warming when I read the mindset of Bhoomica, Bolliwood star, who is very philosophical, and more compassionate towards fellow being, in spite of the fact that she is a celebrity. To know that she loves to interact with the technicians in the studio quite freely is really stupendous, as normally all the cine stars do not more with others quite freely, exception Mr.Rajinikant. It is true that if one makes another fellow being feel happy in whatever little way, viz., by a soothing word, helping financially in times of need, and other means, it is like placing flowers at the feet of God, as said in Geetha.
