My idea of praying is completely different from most other people. I look at God more as a guide and friend. I do not believe in following rituals. Whenever I want something, I just close my eyes and ask God for it. I do not believe in going to temples to pray to God. If you are looking for Him, you can close your eyes and find God in yourself and in the peace around you. There is no need to visit a temple or a mosque for that. Every morning when I am getting ready and putting on my make-up, I close my eyes for five minutes and ask God to make me perform well and make me be the best on that day.

Everyone says God is everywhere but praying five min. in the morning when you put on makeup is not praying. It is telling yourself a lie about yourself. This is just to keep you cool for the moment, the rest of the day you don't know God. Praying keeps your mind clean and calm every moment of your work that doesn’t need any special time or place.

In all religions, followers are saying "God is everywhere." They why do we have to search fr Him in temples? God created us and he will take care of us, if we believe in Him wholeheartedly.
My ideas are the same. Just think of him everyday like a friend who guides you! There is no need to perform elaborate rituals. He is in the peace that surrounds you!
