An AIADMK man from Coimbatore is on cloud nine after having developed an exclusive web portal titled www.jayaberigai.in to be dedicated to his party supremo J. Jayalalithaa on her 64th birthday on February 24.

Elaborating on his innovative idea, Mr K. Ramasubramanian told Deccan Chronicle that he had worked for many months with the help of IT experts in developing the website which would be launched in English, Tamil and Hindi.

“The main purpose of this web portal is to motivate youth to get into public life, more so politics, since they are the future leaders of this country,” he said, adding that the website would have all info right from party’s ideologies, important happenings, party’s achievements and party leader’s statements apart from photo galleries and video clippings.

Mr Ramasubramanian said the website, that would be updated twice daily, has been designed and developed by a group of IT experts using modern technology. A committee will be formed to maintain the portal at least for three years.

Mr Ramasubramanian said a database containing information on youth is being created — so far, details of about 10,000 youth across the country have been collected.

Yet another important feature of the portal is that background music has been given using 16 different percussion instruments to pep up the site.
