It is that special time of year again when we have an excuse to look glamorous and cute. If you have been tearing your closet apart looking for the perfect ensemble for Valentine’s Day, don’t fret. The perfect outfit is already in your closet, you just need to team it right. Whatever you choose, just stay ultra feminine, fun and flirty.

If it’s a daytime date, stay casual. You can even get away with wearing jeans and a stylish tee. Boot-cut jeans are nice and can be paired with boots. Pair them with a flirty printed frilly top or a short flowy kaftan. It can be pink or red or a blend of both shades. Something lacy with small floral or embroidery detailing can be nice.

A shrug still looks terrific when paired with a dress. If you want to adhere to the Valentine’s Day palette, pink will look totally dazzling. Go ahead and pick a flirty pink top, gown or short dress. From baby pink to hot fuchsia, you have more choices than you can possibly count.

A pink mini-dress or a smart pink sweater or shrug or even a hot pink formal dress can make you dazzle.
An evening date is a bit more formal. Long, black dresses are cliche, so avoid them and experiment with bold flirty colours. Accessorising should be minimal, an exquisite neck piece or a metal bracelet should complete the look.
