He arrived in an airplane, travelled in a luxury car, was followed by a caravan of supporters, and is now ensconced in a cottage at Jindal Naturopathy Centre on Tumkur Road, along with Team Anna’s Arvind Kejriwal.

Anna Hazare, who arrived at Bengaluru International Airport at 12 noon on Thursday was welcomed by over 150 supporters, including Sitaram Jindal, founder of the Naturopathy Centre, all of whom tried to get a glimpse of the increasingly frail anti-corruption crusader.

Main bilkul theek hoon. Sirf hawa ka maza lene aaya hoon. Mujhe Bangalore ki hawa bahot pasand hai. (I am all right. I am here just to enjoy the weather. I love Bengaluru climate.),” Anna said, as it became clear he would not be holding public meetings that had earlier brought the nation to a standstill.

“Anna’s stay at the Naturopathy Centre is to improve his health, to detox, build back his immunity,” a volunteer of India Against Corruption said, adding, allopathic medicines administered in a Pune hospital had affected the Gandhian.
