The dazzling golden-hued cape is nothing less than an exotic piece of fine art. What makes it the most extraordinary cloak in the world is its fabric, that is made out of spider silk. Created by English-man Simon Peers, this golden cape with intricate embroidery was sewn using silk from over a million spiders. The garment that took over four years of meticulous labour was woven using the silk gathered from a particular kind of spider known as the Female Golden Orb Weaver, which are found in the mountains of Madagascar. The golden cloak is one-of-its kind in the world.
